# RF elements

> Horn antennas, TwistPort adaptors and StationBox enclosures from Slovak maker RF elements. We supply them to wireless ISPs with technical support.

Our status: Master Distributor for Türkiye · Origin: Slovakia · Website: https://rfelements.com

RF elements was founded in 2010 in Bratislava, Slovakia. It develops antennas and connectivity products for wireless internet service providers (WISPs) and fixed wireless access (FWA) networks, and designs and manufactures them within the European Union.

In 2014 the company brought horn antennas back to the wireless ISP market. A horn antenna has much lower side lobes than a conventional sector antenna and keeps its energy in the intended direction. That makes it easier to run several base stations on one tower without mutual interference, to reuse frequencies and to keep links stable in crowded 5 GHz and 6 GHz spectrum. The TwistPort system attaches the radio straight to the antenna through a waveguide, with no cables or connectors.

We are RF elements' master distributor in Türkiye. Horn antennas, Carrier Class models, TwistPort adaptors and StationBox products are available on wi.com.tr, the platform of our group company Internetten Teknoloji. Our technical team helps with base station design, beamwidth selection and compatibility with radios such as MikroTik and Ubiquiti.

## Product lines

- **Symmetrical Horn**: Sector horns with equal horizontal and vertical beamwidth from 30° to 90°, available in Carrier Class and 5+6 GHz wideband versions.
- **Asymmetrical Horn**: Sector antennas with a wide horizontal and narrow vertical beam for covering broad areas, in beamwidths from 20° to 90°.
- **UltraHorn**: Directional horn antennas for point-to-point and distant subscriber links, available in TwistPort and Carrier Class versions.
- **UltraDish & StarterDish**: High-gain parabolic antennas for long-distance point-to-point links.
- **TwistPort Adaptor**: Adaptors, shielded versions included, that connect Ubiquiti, MikroTik, Cambium ePMP and Mimosa radios and SMA-connector devices to TwistPort antennas.
- **StationBox**: Outdoor enclosures that protect radio boards from the weather, used with dedicated mounting brackets.

## Key features

- **Horn antenna technology**: Low side lobes reduce interference from adjacent sectors and other towers.
- **Dense tower deployments**: Many base stations can share the same mast while reusing frequencies.
- **TwistPort connection**: The radio mounts on the antenna with no cable or connector, so installs are faster and there are fewer failure points.
- **Multi-vendor compatibility**: With TwistPort adaptors, radios from different vendors can use the same antenna family.
- **5 and 6 GHz wideband**: Wideband models cover the 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands in a single antenna.
- **Base station design support**: Our technical team helps with coverage, beamwidth and radio selection.

## Frequently asked questions

### How does a horn antenna differ from a conventional sector antenna?

The difference is in the side lobes. A conventional sector antenna radiates noticeable side lobes outside the intended direction, and that energy interferes with other radios on the same tower. A horn antenna's side lobes are very low, so sectors can sit closer together, frequencies can be reused and signal quality holds up in noisy environments.

### Which radios are RF elements antennas compatible with?

TwistPort adaptors are available for Ubiquiti (e.g. Rocket Prism 5AC and airFiber 5X), MikroTik, Cambium ePMP and Mimosa radios, and for SMA-connector devices. Please confirm model-level compatibility with our technical team before you buy.

### Which beamwidth should I choose?

It depends on how wide the area is, subscriber density and distance. Narrow antennas (e.g. 30°) reach further with less interference, while wide ones (e.g. 90°) cover nearby, scattered subscribers from a single sector. Send our team your subscriber locations and we can recommend a beamwidth.

### Where can I buy RF elements products and how does warranty work?

On wi.com.tr, Internetten Teknoloji's platform, and Internetten Teknoloji also handles warranty in Türkiye. Terms can vary by product, so please confirm them before you buy.
