IoT Energy & Sensor MonitoringComing soon

MetrikWe're building a platform that collects energy and sensor readings over NB-IoT, Modbus, MQTT and LoRaWAN.

Upcoming platform for energy and sensor data from homes, workplaces, factories, greenhouses and farms, over NB-IoT, Modbus, MQTT and LoRaWAN.

Metrik

Overview

We're building a platform that collects energy and sensor readings over NB-IoT, Modbus, MQTT and LoRaWAN.

The energy bill arrives at the end of the month. It doesn't show which machine or which hour of the day pushed consumption up. Soil moisture in a greenhouse or temperature in a barn is no different. Without measurement, a problem only gets noticed once something has already been lost.

Metrik is the platform we are building to track energy in homes, workplaces and factories, and environmental readings in greenhouses and livestock facilities. Data collection, analysis and communication management will sit in one place, and field IoT sensors will be registered and managed in Metrik. It will work with NB-IoT, Modbus, MQTT, LoRaWAN and LoRa.

Metrik is being prepared for launch. WINET, the group's own brand, makes a Wi-Fi energy analyser and metering relays, and these are among the devices being considered for use with Metrik.

Metrik

Key features

Energy monitoring

Tracks values such as consumption, voltage, current and power factor in homes, workplaces and factories.

Greenhouse & livestock

Monitors values such as temperature, humidity, soil moisture, CO₂ and water level in greenhouses and barns.

Multi-protocol

NB-IoT, Modbus, MQTT, LoRaWAN and LoRa devices connect to the same platform.

Sensor management

Register and manage IoT sensors from all your sites in one place.

Analytics

Compare readings over time to see where consumption or environmental conditions changed.

Communication management

The platform's communication layer passes what the readings show to the people who need it.

Capabilities

Protocols

  • NB-IoT: narrowband IoT over mobile networks
  • LoRaWAN: low-power sensor networks over wide areas
  • LoRa: long-range radio links
  • Modbus: industrial meters, analysers and controllers
  • MQTT: IP-connected devices and gateways

Examples of values sensors can measure

  • Energy consumption
  • Voltage, current and power factor
  • Temperature and humidity
  • Soil moisture
  • CO₂ level
  • Water level
  • Barn and poultry house climate

Where it fits

  • Energy tracking in homes and workplaces
  • Consumption analysis on factory and production lines
  • Energy visibility in hotels and public buildings
  • Climate and irrigation tracking in greenhouses
  • Environmental conditions in livestock facilities

How it works

  1. 01

    Decide what to measure

Decide what to monitor and what connectivity the site has. Then pick NB-IoT, LoRaWAN, Modbus or MQTT devices to match.

  2. 02

    Connect the sensors

Field sensors and meters are registered in Metrik and managed there.

  3. 03

    Monitor and analyse

Watch energy and environmental data on one screen and look at how it changes over time.

  4. 04

    Share with the right people

Communication management passes what the readings show to the relevant teams.

Frequently asked questions

Which communication protocols does Metrik work with?

NB-IoT, Modbus, MQTT, LoRaWAN and LoRa. Sensors on mobile networks, industrial meters, IP-based devices and low-power sensor networks spread over large areas can then be managed on the same platform.

Which values can I monitor?

It depends on the sensors you connect. For energy, typical values are consumption, voltage, current and power factor. For greenhouses and livestock, temperature, humidity, soil moisture, CO₂ and water level.

Which protocol suits my site?

Roughly: NB-IoT for scattered points with mobile coverage, LoRaWAN for battery-powered sensors over large areas, Modbus for existing industrial meters and analysers, and MQTT for IP-connected devices. Our team can help you choose for your site.

Can WINET energy products be used with Metrik?

Ask our team for current compatibility details. WINET is the group's own brand, and wi.com.tr sells products such as the WN-S-U100A Wi-Fi smart 3-phase energy analyser and protection relay and the WN-S-L6 Wi-Fi smart energy protection and metering relay.

Is Metrik available yet?

Not yet. Metrik is being prepared for launch. Follow metrik.net.tr for updates, or talk to our team about your energy or sensor monitoring project now.
