Industry & EnergyNetwork infrastructure, energy metering and log management for factories, industrial zones and energy sites.
Network equipment, energy analysers, central log management, field network planning and logistics for factories, industrial zones and energy sites.
Overview
Networks in factories and at energy sites work in conditions an office never sees: dust, vibration, temperature swings, large areas and locations far from the grid. PLCs, SCADA, security cameras, energy metering and many other systems depend on that network staying up.
Energy costs and efficiency targets mean consumption has to be measured by line, machine and building. Energy Efficiency Law No. 5627 and related legislation put energy management obligations on businesses above certain consumption thresholds. Information security rules for public bodies and critical infrastructure operators also make collecting and monitoring system logs a priority.
For industrial projects we supply network equipment and energy analysers through wi.com.tr. Syslog handles central log management and WiMap (beta) handles field connectivity planning. Metrik, our IoT platform for collecting energy data over protocols such as Modbus, MQTT and LoRaWAN, is in development. Wislog covers shipping and warehousing, and Sign covers supply contracts.
Industry needs
- 01
Harsh environments and large sites
Production lines, warehouses and open yards need equipment built for the environment, the right antennas and redundant links.
- 02
Connecting remote sites
Solar and wind plants, substations and pumping stations are often out of fiber's reach. Reliable data links have to be planned over wireless or cellular connections.
- 03
Invisible energy consumption
The total on the bill doesn't show how much energy each line or machine uses. Without metering, you can't calculate the payback on efficiency investments.
- 04
Network security and log traceability
Every device added to the production network widens the attack surface. If firewall and device logs aren't collected centrally, incidents get noticed late.
- 05
Supply and shipping continuity
Delays in spare parts, samples and export shipments directly affect production and delivery dates.

- MetrikIoT Energy & Sensor MonitoringMetrik, now in development, is being designed to collect data from energy analysers and sensors over Modbus, MQTT, NB-IoT, LoRa and LoRaWAN and show consumption in a dashboard. You can start metering today with Modbus-capable energy analysers.Learn more
- SyslogCloud & On-Premises Log ManagementLogs from firewalls, switches, servers and other syslog-capable devices are collected in the cloud or on a server on site and kept for 2 years. When you investigate an incident or prepare for an audit, you search them and pull reports.Learn more
- WiMapFiber & Wireless Network PlanningWiMap (beta) plans PTP/PTMP links across a power plant, industrial zone or factory site with line-of-sight analysis and RSSI heat maps, and fiber routes down to duct and splice level. The project goes to the field as KMZ and PDF.Learn more

Frequently asked questions
How can we connect remotely to equipment at our solar power plant?
If fiber doesn't reach the site, the usual options are a wireless PTP link from the nearest connection point or a cellular (LTE) router. You can model link distance, line-of-sight and antenna choice in WiMap (beta) beforehand and build a redundant setup with MikroTik, Ubiquiti and RF Elements products. For security, run remote access over a VPN and limit it to authorised users.
How can we measure energy consumption per machine?
Install energy analysers in distribution panels or on machine feeds. They measure current, voltage, power and consumption and can pass the data to a central system over protocols such as Modbus. We sell the analysers on wi.com.tr, and the Metrik platform that will collect and report this data is coming soon.
Can Syslog collect logs from devices on the production network?
Yes, from any hardware that can send logs over the syslog protocol, including industrial firewalls, switches and many gateways. Devices without syslog support, such as PLCs, are usually monitored through the logs of the network and security devices they connect through.
Why does log management matter for critical infrastructure operators?
Collecting and monitoring logs is an important part of the measures that Presidential Circular No. 2019/12 on Information and Communication Security Measures and the related Information and Communication Security Guide set for public bodies and businesses providing critical infrastructure services. In the energy sector, EPDK regulations also have to be considered. Syslog helps with central log collection, search and retention, and we recommend reviewing the compliance scope with your security team.
When will Metrik be available?
There is no confirmed date yet. Metrik is in development, and we will announce the launch once the date is set. In the meantime, you can share your energy monitoring requirements with our sales team.
